Project Summary
Construction on the new Wayne State University Mike Ilitch School of Business broke ground in early 2017. This new “Michigan Made, Detroit Built” project features materials from Michigan companies, including limestone and granite from Architectural Specialties Ltd.
The Ilitch School of Business sits on the north end of The District Detroit, a world-class sports and entertainment development in downtown Detroit, Michigan. This new building will include student support facilities, a conference learning center, classrooms, and faculty offices.
In collaboration with SmithGroupJJR, ASL Stone will supply limestone and granite veneer for this 120,000 square foot learning facility, which is expected to service more than 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
