On this very demanding historical restoration work ASL Stone was tasked with creating new replacement elements to accurately replicate existing pieces from all areas of the visible street level areas. These included simple wall panels, intricately carved cornice units, polished arched entry alcoves, horizontal and vertical molding pieces all executed in matching natural granite. Some of this work was accomplished by our economical use of digital scanning technology. This project has been recognized for its outstanding success at achieving the owners’ demands and those of the historical commission having jurisdiction over the work.
