Project Summary
Beacon Park, developed by DTE Energy, is an incredible 1.2-acre site on the western edge of Downtown Detroit. Beacon Park is home to the largest central circle lawn in Detroit, and has a full service restaurant with rooftop dining and stunning panoramic views of the city skyline. The site also features walking paths and multi-use outdoor space for programs and performances. This contemporary masterpiece is the perfect combination of bright light, energy, and motion that will provide breathtaking experiences for all visitors and spark economic development in downtown Detroit.
ASL Stone was presented with the unique vision of livingLAB to source specified granite that was quarried and fabricated within 500 miles of the site, earning regional material LEED credit points from the US Green Building Council. Our team was there every step of the way to exceed expectations on short lead times and deliver the perfect materials to fit the complex shapes and corners of the project.
